Select a royalty-free or non-copyrighted image from the Internet or provide your own image. Open the image in Adobe® Photoshop®. Create 10 distinct alterations to the ‘actual’ image, with each alternation having its own layer. You may use any Adobe® Photoshop® tool to make alterations, but be sure to make these changes to a copy of the original image and retain your original. Please Note: you are not adding other elements to this image; you should only be altering this one image. In other words, please do not create something like a flyer or postcard, where you would add additional graphics or text to the layout. Use various filters, effects, selections, level changes, color enhancements, etc. to change only the original image. Save the .PSD file, where you will show all 11 layers (original and the 10 alterations.) Save a .JPEG file of the final altered image. Share both the PSD file (with all layers showing your ten very distinct alterations) and the final JPEG file with the class. You can zip both files together for your attachment, if you like – or post them as two separate attachments. Write a 200- to 300-word short-answer response to the following: What tools did you use to modify the image? How did these tools allow you to achieve the results you wanted?
